When did you join DA and why?
I joined on March 23, 2004 back when I was a freshman at Penn State University. That seems so long ago even though it was only 2004. I was pressured into joining by a few people I knew from OtakuBoards (which I haven't been to for several years).

What was the first deviation you uploaded?
It was a drawing of Zaku from Naruto that I drew with paintpixel's version of him as a reference. I thought it was the greatest thing ever at the time. lol [link]

How many deviations have you submitted?
226 deviations and 62 scraps. WOW!

Do you submit everything you create?
Just about unless it's something I don't finish or something I hate.

Do you read all the comments you get?
Every single one.

Do you reply to all the comments you get?
Rarely do I ever not reply to a comment unless it's completely idiotic.

Do you read all the favorites/watches you get?
I look at the names of the people that favorite and what they favorited. Sometimes I'll click their name if I don't recognize it. For watchers, I usually check their page. I used to leave comments on every faver and watcher's page, but it became too time-consuming after a while.

Do you prefer comments or favs?
Favs are cool, but comments are better.

How much time do you spend on Deviantart?
Not as much as I used to, but still a good amount of time.

Do you think that Deviantart is good for critique?
Well, not on anything I make. My comments usually say stuff like "Cool!" or "Awesome!" and then some other stuff. No one ever critiques, really.

Do you think there's a lot of drama on DA?
Not that I'm involved in, so I wouldn't know the extent of it...

Do you think DA would be better if it filtered out people who are not serious at artwork or causing too much drama?
YES. I'm so sick of people that upload images that they think are neat as if this was Photobucket or Flickr.

Do you think the age limit should be higher than 13 for creating an account?
I guess 13 is OK. It would be better if that age limit was actually enforced, though. All you have to do is make it seem like you are at least 13 and you can create an account. There's no proof of age.

Do you go on the DA forums?
Never have been. Not really interested.

Would you buy a subscription? Why or why not?
I've never bought one for myself, but Johnnie has gotten them for me 2 or 3 times for a year. It was nice, but now that they've updated so much on the site, it's not so bad now without one. When mine went up in November, I was shocked that I still got thumbnails and comments in my Message Center. The ads are the only bad thing now.
